Tuwanek is a small community located just outside of Sechelt on the Inland Sea. The area has been a quiet cottage community since the early 1960`s and the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The Lamb Islets located in Tuwanek are listed in the 101 best dives in the Pacific Northwest and you can shore dive right off the local beach to an underwater marine adventure. Dive with a local PADI Certified Instructor or head out for the day on a dive charter to one of the many dive sites located just a short boat ride from your cabin. Dive the Chaudière..... a sunken destroyer located by boat 10 min from Tuwanek.

Come explore the inland sea where you can Sea Kayak to over nine Provincial Marine Parks that dot the inlet. Great for day paddles as well as short trips, the Sechelt Inlet is known for it`s calm waters and diverse marine life.  It`s a great place to learn how to paddle and in the summer water temperatures reach 24 C or 75 F for swimming and snorkeling.

If Hiking or Mountain Biking is something you love to do then be sure and visit the Tetrahedron Park as well as one of the many hundreds of trails the Sunshine Coast has to offer.  Just 15 min from Tuwanek the Tetrahedron or Angus Creek Mountain Bike loop offers.

For the less athletic, The Water’s Edge Day Spa is located on the waterfront in Tuwanek and offers a wide range of spa services from relaxing massage to facials, wraps and pedicures.

At Tranquility Bay we offer private and personalized boat charters year round. After a leisurely gourmet breakfast, your adventure begins just steps away from your suite down at our private dock.

You will hop aboard our 27 foot Bayliner with comfortable chairs on deck and a cozy cabin. Spend your day on the magnificent waters of Sechelt Inlet, while listening to relaxing music and enjoying on board refreshments and snacks. See the seals at Seal rock and watch the float planes take off overhead.
