enhancement of tourist accommodation, facilities, services and amenities
in BC through inspection and star rating systems. Approved properties
are featured in the BC Accommodations Guide. Education and Training - building a professional, well-trained workforce to ensure consumer loyalty and repeat business. Delivers world-class training programs such as SuperHost as well as job standards, certification and career development programs through its association with the Pacific Rim Institute of Tourism. Research and Economic Analysis - provides research
to industry partners for measurement, evaluation and management
of growth in all sectors. Major projects include the British Columbia
Visitor Study. Business Development - responsible for consumer, corporate and industry communications as well as the development of new revenue-generating opportunities. Marketing and Sales - consumer-driven strategies target key geographic markets to increase demand for Super, Natural British Columbia as a preferred travel destination.
