As you plan your getaway to the Sunshine Coast of British, Columbia, Canada and Tranquility Bay here is some important information that will help make your trip more enjoyable.
BC Ferries leave for the Sunshine Coast from the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal. You can find directions to the terminal on the Tranquility Bay maps or by clicking here. As you approach the ferry terminal be aware that you are in the correct lane and watch the signs for " Langdale and the Sunshine Coast "

Give yourself some extra time at the terminal prior to sailing. You can get out and stretch your legs, smell the sea air and all in all it's a lot less stressful than trying to get there just in time. Better to relax for a few minutes ahead of time than miss the ferry and have to wait for another.

In the summer months you can view the summer ferry schedule here which runs from late June to September after Labour Day each year.

Before you know it the short 40 minute ferry ride will be coming to and end and you will have arrived in Langdale and the seaside town of Gibsons.
